- That is strange, after 5 years, but who is this guy? 186.172.107.117 01:27, 4 September 2024 (UTC)
- Keep "Illegally acquired footage" is not a valid reason for deletion of a file we are hosting since 2019. How was the footage acquired and what laws were broken? --Jarekt (talk) 02:11, 5 September 2024 (UTC)
- I think the filer is talking about personality rights and consent requirement. Judging by the username, the filer might be the person depicted in the photo. So, the photo may not have been stolen from him (as he is obviously not the photographer), but it may have been taken / uploaded without his consent. Nakonana (talk) 19:02, 5 September 2024 (UTC)
- Oh wait, the filer is also the uploader. Looks like uploader and depicted person are the same, but the photo is not a selfie and therefore likely a copyvio. Nakonana (talk) 19:05, 5 September 2024 (UTC)
- The uploaded image was posted without the consent of the person depicted in it. 92.13.36.221 21:26, 7 September 2024 (UTC)
- Apologies, yes I am not the person who appears in the picture or the photographer. I found this image and I uploaded it with good intentions. I thought the researcher had relevance to have their own page so I created this profile. I have done that before with other researcher and never had an issue. Please, feel free to delete the image. I'll double check better the legality next time. Pmpancorbo (talk) 21:34, 7 September 2024 (UTC)
- There was another image from the same person which was uploaded from the same account recently deleted from Wikimedia as well. This is an easy case. 92.13.36.221 21:51, 7 September 2024 (UTC)
- the uploaded didn't have the rights to upload the image and the image I snot used in any page - > delete 92.40.170.11 22:36, 7 September 2024 (UTC)
- OK, so by those statements, the image should be Speedy deleted as COM:COPYVIO. Nakonana (talk) 00:27, 8 September 2024 (UTC)

I uploaded this image with the person depicted or the photographer's consent. I got message asking me to delete it and I just wanted to apologise, I made this account to support the researcher. Didn't know I needed consent. Pmpancorbo (talk) 21:39, 7 September 2024 (UTC)
