This file was initially tagged by Wcam as Speedy (SD) and the most recent rationale was: G4|Commons:Deletion requests/File:Nanjing metro logo.svg put back before the community  — billinghurst sDrewth 22:46, 12 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy delete as a DR already decided this image exceeded COM:TOO China and still does given the current information in COM:TOO China, while no new evidence is presented indicating otherwise. --Wcam (talk) 16:44, 13 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Speedy delete. Note that the author is not correct. Per [1], the author of the logo is not Nanjing Metro but an anonymous person.--Njzjz (talk) 19:10, 13 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Comment: I don't think whether the author is Nanjing Metro or an anonymous person is relevant in our discussion here. You could easily change the "author" in the file information table. --Tomchen1989 (talk) 21:24, 13 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I'm inclined to support  Keep, because the image is really simple, it's just like some commonly used turn on / off icon, in a five-petal flower you can find everywhere [2] [3] [4] [5].
Note that it's never a "speedy delete" here. Even if the result is delete, it's a "delete", not a "speedy delete". If it was an American company's logo, it would probably be speedy kept.
It's also possible that COM:TOO China is a little biased, it has too few "OK" cases (only one actually) and could include more "OK" cases such as this one.
Also, File:Nanjing Metro Logo.svg could be discussed along with Commons:Deletion requests/Files in Category:Logos of rail transport companies of China (where some previously kept, really simple logos have been also nominated for deletion).
IMNAL. It's really confusing. I'm reading this 85-page paper to try to understand trademark right and prior copyright in Chinese legal system and how it differs from the other country. But I've got a feeling that Chinese courts often cite copyright law to prevent trademark copycats' registration (while maybe the courts in other countries use trademark law to do that?), and the trademark issue is exactly what the template {{Trademark}} has already warned. --Tomchen1989 (talk) 21:24, 13 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
