Per COM:CHAR. As we've gone over a million times before, Mickey Mouse isn't public domain until next year. Nosferattus (talk) 17:44, 14 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

yeah its like 2 months away now.  Delete for now and undelete then. SDudley (talk) 02:55, 15 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Comment It would only be able to be hosted here in 2024 if the design is derivative of the w:Steamboat Willie design. If the Mickey design is derivative of later designs, it would need to wait longer until restoration. Abzeronow (talk) 20:11, 16 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Not undeleted in 2024: Mickey Mouse in this film has white gloves. The character of Mikey Mouse with white gloves first appeared in The Opry House (March 28, 1929). Undelete in 2025. —RP88 (talk) 22:10, 1 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That's confusing however. Although it is the first time he wore gloves while animated, the first he actually wore gloves was in the title card for Steamboat Willie, which is indeed public domain. Despite this, Mickey Mouse in this short, wearing gloves, is animated, so I think we'll still keeping the undeletion date as 2025. --LucianoTheWindowsFan (talk) 15:53, 20 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
