- Keep. Nothing on the cited page suggests otherwise. TJRC (talk) 03:52, 16 January 2020 (UTC)
- Delete https://www.copyright.gov/about/legal.html says "You may not use the Copyright Office website in any manner that infringes the intellectual property rights or other proprietary rights......" Hosting on commons infringes those rights Gbawden (talk) 09:46, 17 January 2020 (UTC)
- Not if it's a work of the US government, which are public domain. TJRC (talk) 16:54, 17 January 2020 (UTC)
- Comment @TJRC: U.S. Copyright Office is a part of the Library of Congress which is the legislative branch, not the executive one. Besides not every agency work is ineligible for copyright.--Patrick Rogel (talk) 17:06, 17 January 2020 (UTC)
- I think you're seriously confused about the scope of section 105 of the copyright act. It covers all works of the federal government, not only works of the executive branch.
- On what basis do you believe that the United States Copyright Office is not part of the United States Government?
- Your statement that "not every agency work" is technically true, because there is one single exception to the rule, but the works here do not fall under that exception. That sole exception is for works of standard reference data produced by the Department of Commerce, and has nothing to do with the U.S. Copyright Office. TJRC (talk) 18:42, 17 January 2020 (UTC)
