Disagree Yes, but the arc de triomphe is a public monument, old enough to be in the public domain. It's not the case about the pyramid of Louvre or the illumination on Eiffel Tower.- Paris official website about freedom of pictures, "Sont ainsi entrées dans le domaine public les œuvres architecturales suivantes : l’Arc de Triomphe, le Dôme des Invalides, l’Hôtel de Ville, l’Obélisque de la Concorde ou encore l’Opéra Garnier.
