Plus:
Highly doubt this is a work of the US Government; they haven’t had any works for this administration with the exception of the First Lady. There are similar photos used in articles dating back to August 2020 and even January 2019. No proof this is in public domain. I recommend the cropped photos get deleted too (see above). - Furthermore, please see her Time Person of the Year photo. This could very well be when it was taken, December 7, 2020, and had a slight change in her stance and they either used a different backdrop or it’s photoshopped in. Corky 07:47, 1 March 2021 (UTC)
- @Corky: Please add cropped images to the nomination. Either they get deleted as well, or we don't delete this image. Cannot keep them if this is deleted. SecretName101 (talk) 22:13, 18 February 2021 (UTC)
- Comment Not sure about the primary image yet, will try to do some research. But the links given to 2020 and 2019 images are unrelated to this one. Same or similar necklace & earrings, yes, but the 2019 one has a different pin and in all 3 photos she has a different top. The current image is in use on her official VP Twitter account, though. - @ValarianB: Although I agree she has different tops and pins, the background is the same... telling me that these are campaign photos, not official works of the U.S. government. No top White House officials (aside from the First Lady) have US Government official photos as of yet. Corky 05:42, 23 February 2021 (UTC)
- Keep - Maybe Ms Harris only has one nice pair of suit but it doesn't mean this image is old, I can tell you that this image was taken on Feb 10th, 2021, but I can't tell you if its official yet..--Stemoc 09:54, 27 February 2021 (UTC)
- @Stemoc: Do you have proof that it was taken on February 10, 2021? They’ve used this photo since January 20th so I’m not sure how it could’ve been taken on Feb. 20, 2021... Corky 07:43, 1 March 2021 (UTC)
- Keep This is being used via her public domain accounts and while it is not an "official portrait" in the tradition sense, it's currently the one we have for now. Missvain (talk) 01:24, 28 February 2021 (UTC)
- @Missvain: Just because it’s used on a public domain account does not mean it’s in the public domain. It simply means they have permission to use it, but it’s still copyrighted. We can still use her Senate photo just like we use his VP photo. Corky 07:43, 1 March 2021 (UTC)
Delete per Corky. Couldn't have said it better myself. It appearing on a PD account does not mean it was produced by the owner of that account. Public domain status is not inherited. ― Tartan357 Talk 18:52, 27 March 2021 (UTC)
Deleted: There is no direct proof of being taken by somebody outside the Gov (as even PoY photoset has little different clothes) but at the same time the photo is posted by the subject, not a photographer and typically in VRT (for example) we ask for clarification how the photo was made and rights were transferred. It look to be something similar here. --rubin16 (talk) 07:00, 18 November 2021 (UTC)
