No source. No authorship information, unknown copyright situation. No indication that the author would have died before 1942. Jcb (talk) 17:47, 29 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Kept: Author unknown. License looks OK to me. --Yann (talk) 14:20, 30 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Renominating after consulting with closing admin. 'author unknown' is not listed as a valid rationale in {{PD-Russia-2008}}. We have no information at all on the publication, so that we don't have the slightest indication whether "published anonymously or under a pseudonym" may apply. Closing admin had to admit that we are "left in the dark" about this file. The creation date 1937 is way too recent to assume PD. Closing admin somehow thinks that works created in 1937 are somehow anonymous by default, while there are probably tenthousands of examples to the contrary only on our servers. As long as COM:PCP is an official policy at Wikimedia Commons, we cannot go on wishful thinking. Jcb (talk) 12:13, 31 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
