- I think it falls under 2D "works of artistic craftmanship" and Wikipedia has been inconsistent regarding deletion requests on Australian murals. I think we should pending our judgement until we reassess the case of FOP in Australia, especially street art, and produce a consistent policy across all deletion requests.

- @Kanzcech no, street art cannot be freely photographed for commercial licensing distributions. It is simple as that. The court ruling and the associated commentary only concern the threshold of objects (like a yacht that was the involved object in the court ruling) eligible for being a work of artistic craftsmanship or not. These do not in any way give indication, explicit or implicit-wise, that murals and other 2D artworks can be commercially exploited by the public without artists' permissions.
