The file is an image derived from the Nazi-era swastika. It has no encyclopedic use. It has only been used in Wikipedia in an offensive way on Talk and Ref. Desk pages. Its description is false because there is no such thing as "Image of the 'official' flag of the Grammar Nazis." It is not a good joke. Cuddlyable3 (talk) 22:43, 6 September 2011 (UTC)

- The use of images elsewhere, however controversial or offensive, should be discussed on the projects where they're being used, not on Commons. This community does not decide for other communities. Mathonius (talk) 01:55, 7 September 2011 (UTC)
- Keep I am not a regular editor on this project, so my opinion should be discounted somewhat. I am in agreement with the argument presented above that individual project use is not a particular concern of the Commons project, and I have faith that Commons can patrol its own internal usage. Use of the image on en:wiki, which I believe was a precipitating factor here, is almost wholly confined to userboxes where individual editors have chosen to self-identify a "grammar nazi" affiliation. That may be in questionable taste but is of no particular concern for Commons. I did identify one en:wiki usage of the image which I deemed unacceptable, removed, and discussed with the relevant editor. Wider issues may remain with usage of the image at all on the project, but yeah, not your guys' concern that I can see. Franamax (talk) 01:08, 8 September 2011 (UTC)
- See no pressing reason to delete -- "Grammar Nazi" is parallel to "Soup Nazi", the image visually loosely alludes to the Nazi flag, but does not directly copy Nazi symbols, and user space images are allowed (with some restrictions). In my opinion, File:Rouge-Admin.png would have more potential to be offensive... AnonMoos (talk) 17:11, 8 September 2011 (UTC)
