  •  Keep There's zero evidence that the image is a fake whatever that means. There's a chance it's just another version of the portrait. That is something that happens, people make other versions of portraits. It's not really a reason to delete something. Especially not just because it's hosted on a Russian website.   •  Keep and rename. The attribution is incorrect, good detective work. I went ahead and renamed it, the old name should be deleted to prevent confusion, after the thread is closed. --RAN (talk) 04:58, 29 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • It looks like it is a misattribution by the Russian website. The website I now link to has the following information: "Portrait painted in 1873 by Cesare Mussini, after the original painting by Salvatore Tonci (Modern Gallery of the Pitti Palace) DR." It recognizes that it is a copy of the first painting, and you cleverly recognized the error.
