There is indeed a reason to believe that the copyright tag is invalid, since the uploader failed to provide any evidence of pre-1923 publication. Stefan4 (talk) 19:03, 13 January 2014 (UTC)
- Frederick William Rolfe died on October 25 1913, at the age of 53 years old. He is around 20 years old in that pic. It precedes 1923 more than 40 years. Please use common sense! --Osado (talk) 21:03, 13 January 2014 (UTC)
- Commons sense says that lots of photos of people who died in 1913 are unpublished. Please provide evidence supporting the claim that this photograph was published before 1923. --Stefan4 (talk) 21:09, 13 January 2014 (UTC)
Kept, the photo is made in 1880-s. Whoever is the photographer, (s)he is very probably more than 70 years dead. Taivo (talk) 16:30, 25 January 2014 (UTC)
