At the bottom of the cover, it says "© FIGHTMAG 2005-2016". We need a written permission from the copyright holder of the cover (and possibly the images on it) via COM:OTRS. El Grafo (talk) 07:26, 14 June 2017 (UTC)
- I am the copyright owner as stated on the upload of the whole file (Cover). The image of the athlete has been supplied by email by the athlete with a permission from the photographer who made a shoot particularly for this cover. The image of the referee is owned by the Bigger's Better Boxing inc that grants all necessary rights to Fightmag as its partner for usage of its name, copyrighted work, including video, graphic, logo. Unfortunately I am not familiar how to contact OTRS, but I am OK to delete the file, although no copyright violation is made as stated above. The idea to upload the file was to help (contribute) for a draft of a Fightmag article someone has submitted for creation. Please advise.Parviziskender (talk) 15:42, 14 June 2017 (AWST)

- @Parviziskender: Thanks for the info, that's great news! It's a rare thing for us to have a magazine cover we don't have to delete because of copyright issues, so I hope you can forgive me for being suspicious. The OTRS team will contact you if they need more information. Until then, please be patient: all the OTRS stuff is handled by volunteers, and as far as I know there currently is an unusually large backlog on their side. They are working hard on digging away that pile of messages, but it may take some weeks for them to process your mail. It's possible that an admin might temporarily delete the file in the mean time. If that's the case: Don't worry, it will be restored by the OTRS-team once everything has been sorted out. Sorry for the inconvenience, I hope everything will turn out nicely in the end. Thanks for your work, --El Grafo (talk) 14:52, 14 June 2017 (UTC)
- @admins: I don't know how you feel about this, but to me the statement above sounds convincing. Can we just put this On hold until we hear back from OTRS? --El Grafo (talk) 14:52, 14 June 2017 (UTC)
- @admins @El Grafo: Thank you for response. Whatever is the right thing to do - please do. As mentioned above, the file was uploaded with a sole idea to contribute to the suggested article for creation. In addition, the Fightmag itself aspires to help popularizing the sports of muaythai and kickboxing internationally. It appears to be cited throughout Wikipedia in related to the field articles. From what can be understood as a contribution to both, an online encyclopedia itself in terms of keeping it up-to-date, as well as the ultimate purpose - contribution to sport. Thank you.
- Comment: Note from OTRS agent: the ticket 2017061410007219 did not provide sufficient confirmation of the CC-BY-SA-4.0 license that this file was marked as when uploaded, as it did not successfully reveal the copyright status of the individual images contained within the design. The uploader is encouraged to consider uploading this file to en.wikipedia directly with consideration of that project's fair use policy. seb26 (talk) 22:06, 19 June 2017 (UTC)
- As discussed by email with OTRS and received a substantial advice from seb26 could you please delete the file from Wiki commons. Thank you. Parviziskender (talk) 00:18, 20 June 2017 (UTC)
