Commons:Deletion requests/File:FBI Electronic Billboard.jpg
This file was initially tagged by Magog the Ogre as no source (No source since)... but I found this image at http://www.dnainfo.com/new-york/20100115/manhattan/fbi-hopes-times-square-billboard-will-help-catch-fugitives dated to 2010 (and http://www.vosizneias.com/47071/2010/01/15/manhattan-ny-times-square-billboard-to-display-fbi-most-wanted/) and identified to FBI. The image there is the same 28Kb size as this one. Would the consensus thus be to keep it as an FBI work? However, on page http://atlantic.tv-sign.ru/en/2010/8.html, the photo credit is to SanLuisObisbo.com. I was unable to find that photo on that website. I did however find a bigger version of this image at (http://file2.answcdn.com/answ-cld/image/upload/w_760,c_fill,g_faces:center,q_60/v1401340263/dzirbfmmibtyafwwmqey.jpg) and would suggest that if this is kept, the larger version be uploaded instead. - Comment this is not a straight-on photograph. Hence the photographer retains the right to it. I agree that the internet sites have been sloppy in their own attribution and thus we do not know who the photographer is. However, see also Commons:Deletion requests/Files uploaded by Justix99; was the photograph of the individual actually taken by the FBI? Magog the Ogre (talk) (contribs) 17:08, 1 August 2015 (UTC)
- Comment I don't know if the FBI took the base image, and agree it's not straight on. I converted it from no source because I found a source. Whether it's ok to keep or not, still has to be decided by consensus. Ellin Beltz (talk) 21:11, 1 August 2015 (UTC)
