English: I see at least four orange “no photo” lanyards in this picture – all photographed from the back, without visible faces, but as far as I’m aware the no photo policy still applies in this case.
Deutsch: Ich sehe mindestens vier orangene „kein Foto“-Bänder – alle von hinten fotografiert, ohne sichtbare Gesichter, aber soweit ich weiß greift die Fotorichtlinie auch in diesem Fall.

- Commons:HOUSERULES and COM:Personality rights aren't reasons to delete a file from Commons. Granted this is a file which is normally not in an educational scope, but a "Wikimedia" scope, so we might grant more courtesy deletions regarding such photos, but the fact that a perosn does not want to be photographed is usually not a reason to delete a photo. --Jonatan Svensson Glad (talk) 01:46, 17 November 2019 (UTC)

- I checked the event rules – they’re quite clear (emphasis added): „Personen mit einem orangenen Lanyard mit der Aufschrift ‚No photo, please!‘ möchten in keinem Fall fotografiert oder gefilmt werden.“ = “People with an orange lanyard with the label ‘No photo, please!’ do not wish to be photographed or filmed under any circumstances.” This photo should not have been taken, much less uploaded. And if it really is Commons’ position to ignore the orange lanyards, and allow photos in violation of the event’s policy to be uploaded, then I must say I find it downright irresponsible for Wikimedia to invite people, including ones whose livelihood may be threatened if they’re identified in photos, to events held under such a toothless policy. (It’s bad enough that I have to file these deletion requests regularly, i. e. people are regularly violating the policy – but at least the deletion requests are usually granted.) --Lucas Werkmeister (talk) 22:19, 17 November 2019 (UTC)

Deleted: per nomination - close call -- If this were not a WMF event, we'd keep the photo, but since it is a WMF event, I think we should not keep it. It is also very dark, so not useful. Note also, that the comment above is not correct -- COM:Personality rights is a reason for deletion here. Commons:HOUSERULES is intended to apply to works of art and other non-human subjects. .
