1998 sculpture by Gary Casteel. There's no FOP in the US for 3D art so OTRS from Casteel would be needed to keep it on Commons Abzeronow (talk) 17:18, 4 February 2020 (UTC)
- Delete: I posted about this at COM:VPC#File:Equestrian statue of James Longstreet.jpg because it clearly didn't seem (at least to me) to be OK per COM:FOP United States and was actually a derivative work in which the copyright of the statue also needed to be taken into consideration. I asked about it at VPC because I couldn't decide whether simply tagging the file with {{Dw-nsd}} would suffice. For reference, I came across this file via en:File:Longstreet bad face detail.jpg, which is uploaded locally to Wikipedia, and might also need to be deleted if this file isn't kept. -- Marchjuly (talk) 00:40, 5 February 2020 (UTC)
- Comment: See also Commons:Deletion requests/File:Gettysburg Battlefield, Pennsylvania, US (23).jpg since it appears to be another photograph of the same statue uploaded by a different person. -- Marchjuly (talk) 00:52, 5 February 2020 (UTC)
Kept: Permission now received from sculptor, Gary Casteel, per OTRS ticket #2020020610001571. JGHowes talk 15:31, 6 February 2020 (UTC)
