Commons:Deletion requests/File:Dona Diabla mural, San Francisco, California LCCN2013630322.tif
This is the Dona Diabla mural. This dates back to the late 2000s early 2010s.
Per the copyright policy on the Balmy Alley website: “Please remember that murals are copyrighted works of art. Photographs are for your personal enjoyment only. Any photos OR video taken of copyrighted murals for the purpose of reproduction (including t-shirts, album covers, web sites, guide books, the background for music videos or commercials, etc) can only be used with written permission from the muralist(s). “
I also worry this artwork might feature derived copyrighted works in it.
Without permission directly from the artist, we cannot host this on Commons per COM:FOP US.
By the way - Just because this was photographed by Carol Highsmith and published by the Library of Congress DOES NOT make this artwork public domain or freely licensed. The Library of Congress houses a lot of copyrighted material. I know, because I worked for them. Missvain (talk) 23:14, 15 June 2021 (UTC)
