Picture is inaccurate and POV based. Darling Harbour is not that large nor is it a suburb of its own, in the picture it's including the suburbs of Pyrmont and Ultimo. The Rocks is also not that large as that's including the suburbs of Dawes Point, Millers Point and Barangaroo which are all separate to The Rocks. The 'City East' does not include Paddington and Moore Park. Paddington is mostly Woollahra Council along with Edgecliff train station and Moore Park while being 'City of Sydney' Council is part of the Centennial Parklands in the Eastern Suburbs. Whoever made this map didn't research suburbs, postcodes and boundaries correctly. It's an epitome of inaccurate original research. I'm surprised the discussion of the images veracity wasn't brought up sooner.Mapper2000 (talk) 17:37, 25 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Speedy keep per COM:INUSE; this is coming from someone who has potentially used IP socks to POV push on another WMF project. --SHB2000 (talk) 21:20, 25 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - Map is an inaccurate representation of Central Sydney and not useful for anyone let alone a traveler, in hindsight the picture should never have been uploaded in the first place. The biased users defending this are acting purely on complacency simply because 'they're used to it' while Mapper2000 is also biased with the agenda of pushing their map. The excuse of the map being used on pages structured around it is not legitimate as that is all the more reason to remove the picture and restructure those pages to reflect reality and not a map with false oversized districts and boundaries. I think pages using this map would perhaps benefit from a zoomed-in interactive OpenStreetMap with pin drops rather than relying on original content uploaded by users whose maps are based on POV and original research or lack thereof. Traveler comes first, not local residents. — Preceding unsigned comment was added by 203.49.228.129 (talk) 00:50, 28 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Commons has enough to do without making deletion requests the place for you to make arguments that didn't work on Wikivoyage. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 16:56, 29 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Commons should be aware that a false map of Sydney is being used to give travelers an incorrect overview of Central Sydney's districts and boundaries with complacent biased editors like yourself allowing this misuse simply because they don't want to make any effort to change things for the better. Sounds like you're not on Wikivoyage to build a travel guide but simply to defend what suits you. 203.49.228.129 01:14, 30 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
