Company store portrayed as advertisement and violates local freedom of panorama law. O'Dea (talk) 22:53, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose: The reason for deletion is groundless. Costa Rica does not have such freedom of panorama restrictions (the picture was taken in Costa Rica, Juan Santamaria International Airport). Restrictions apply only to works of arts (statures, paints, etc.). This picture is not advertisement, it serves to illustrate the article about the company, which sells coffee and has stores in several international airports throughout Latin America. And just in case, I took the picture and do not have any affiliation with Cafe Britt.--Mariordo (talk) 23:31, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Costa Rican freedom of panorama law is cited here in Commons, so it does exist. O'Dea (talk) 19:02, 13 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The link is dead, so it goes nowhere. Can you produce one regarding restrictions on panoramas? As I said above, only literary and artistic work is protected, read the law here.--Mariordo (talk) 02:27, 14 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Me neither, but the image could be trimmed if that is a problem.--Mariordo (talk) 04:32, 18 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
As an example of a similar but well established category see Category:Starbucks. There are plenty of similar pics like this one, just surf around the different subcategories.--Mariordo (talk)
