the file is no more used, it has been renamed. Nothing point on this page. Bretwa (talk) 13:06, 22 May 2020 (UTC)
- Keep No valid reason for deletion. File was moved to File:CPU fan Thermalright Le Grand Macho RT functioning - 2018-05-20.webm, leaving a redirect. Nominator blanked the page before nominating for deletion. Brianjd (talk) 13:20, 22 May 2020 (UTC)
- Why should we leave a redirect if there is no page using this one who was a misspelling? What's the point of leaving it, it uses up space for nothing, doesn't it? Bretwa (talk) 13:40, 22 May 2020 (UTC)
- Commons:File renaming#Leaving redirects says that redirects should only be suppressed in special cases. This would suggest that, once a redirect is left, it should only be deleted in special cases.
- Deleting it will not free up space: “deleted” pages are merely hidden from non-administrators. Brianjd (talk) 13:46, 22 May 2020 (UTC)
- Probably we are in the first case : "recently uploaded files with an obvious error" as the misspelling error is obvious and the file have been uploaded 2 days ago. Do what you want, it's not that important. Bretwa (talk) 14:34, 22 May 2020 (UTC)
- That applies when the redirect is unreasonable, which is not the case here. Brianjd (talk) 14:36, 22 May 2020 (UTC)

Comment @Bretwa: Suppression of redirects are for some cases in particular, which in the case of the mentioned file doesn't correspond (despite having a typing error) so the redirection was left. Now the same redirect can be nominated for a speedy deletion which in this case, applies the G2 criterion ℳaʐbeʟ (✉︎) 19:41, 22 May 2020 (UTC)
- So something than cannot be done slowly should be done speedy? I wonder if there is not a little bureaucracy here. We should close the current deletion request and open a speedy one? Bretwa (talk) 21:07, 22 May 2020 (UTC)
- I did not think G2 applied, but if it does, that suggests that the redirect was unreasonable and could have been suppressed after all. Brianjd (talk) 05:09, 23 May 2020 (UTC)
- Delete. I don't see what the problem is here, or why we are inconveniencing the uploader this way. The file was uploaded on 21 May 2020, and requested rename about 6hrs later. The purpose of retaining redirects is if a file has external (non-Wikimedia) linkages. Obviously this wont be the case for this recently uploaded file, of which the rename was also requested by the uploader almost immediately after upload. I would have simply deleted this under G2 or G7. Rehman 02:56, 24 May 2020 (UTC)
- Delete Useless and lack of educational use. No other pages link to this redirect and this redirect is typo. Also, the original filename has a obvious error (i.e. "functionning" typo), thus the filemover can suppress redirect when moving per Commons:File_renaming#Leaving_redirects.
