Commons:Deletion requests/File:Bus in Poundswick Lane, Wythenshawe.jpg (2nd Nomination)
I nominated this a few days ago and It was kept (Long story short I disagreed with the closure and it all got rather confusing), Anyway I believe the glares on the image make the image overall useless to be included anywhere and I still believe it wouldn't be used anywhere and is pretty much a useless file, BTW I just to want make it absolutely clear that whatever the outcome I won't be reverting anyone! .... Just thought I should mention that, Anyway thanks, –Davey2010Talk 23:03, 29 January 2016 (UTC)
- Pinging Basvb who was the original closer of the previous FFD (Commons:Deletion requests/File:Bus in Poundswick Lane, Wythenshawe.jpg). –Davey2010Talk 23:09, 29 January 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks for the ping, will let this up to you all. Basvb (talk) 23:15, 29 January 2016 (UTC)
- You're welcome Basvb - It's only fair I ping you :), Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 23:17, 29 January 2016 (UTC)

- Keep: It is the only photo we have showing the left side (door side) of a MCT Pointer bus. -- Tuválkin ✉ ✇ 05:44, 30 January 2016 (UTC)
- That's not a reason to keep the image!, That's like saying "Keep because it's showing the LED destination display on the door side" or "Keep because it's showing the door side indicator" .... Do you see what I mean ? ... They're not really reasons to keep an image are they?... –Davey2010Talk 15:10, 30 January 2016 (UTC)
- Comment: The name of this DR was a bad idea, as the additional "(2nd Nomination)" will prevent this discussion to show on the same page as the previous discussion (which is the usual way for recurrent nominations of the same single file); f.t.r., that previous discussion was closed as keep 5 days ago, by User:Steinsplitter. -- Tuválkin ✉ ✇ 05:44, 30 January 2016 (UTC)
- Keep per Commons:Deletion requests/File:Bus in Poundswick Lane, Wythenshawe.jpg. It looks like Davey2010 is playing the system and pushing his POV. IMHO a COM:POINT deletion request. My two cents... --Steinsplitter (talk) 09:33, 30 January 2016 (UTC)
- I was told to renominate so no I'm not making a point (What point is their to make?), and I'm certainly not playing the fucking sysem!, Have you ever heard of COM:AGF before?...., Anyway your keeping per Bas's close which again isn't a reason to keep an image. –Davey2010Talk 15:10, 30 January 2016 (UTC)
- Well so far no one's provided a real nor a convincing reason to keep this image, I'm more than happy to withdraw if someone can actually provide a reason to keep instead of trying to find a reason, I will add too that I've got hundreds if not thousands images like this deleted and no one's ever had an issue infact some people have even gone with delete here...., Anyway thanks, –Davey2010Talk 15:18, 30 January 2016 (UTC)
- Keep Per Tuvalkin. @Davey2010: The photo is obviously of poor quality, but we really don't seem to have any better image of the same thing.. if we did, I'd say delete this. It's a judgement call (noone seems to think it's a copyright problem, or anything similar), obviously, but in such a case you'd do better to not just dismiss other editor's legitimate opinions as 'not valid'. "The best freely licensed image we have of a subject" is a reasonable argument for keeping an image, even a 'poor' one, until we get something better. You might not personally think it's a 'good' argument, but it's certainly a 'legitimate' one when the entire issue (how bad is 'too bad') is a matter of opinion. Kept/Withdrawn: - I personally disagree with keeping this but at the same time Revent has a point here, I could badger on but whatever I say the file's gonna be kept so I'd simply be wasting my time there, Anyway the image probably wont ever be used so I guess it's not a overly big deal, Anyway wrapping it up. –Davey2010Talk 01:23, 2 February 2016 (UTC)
- Hmm, maybe this is not a good idea, all things considered. In Commons most DR closings, even those closed to keep, are done by admins… Sure, some non-admins sometimes do close DRs, but to be on the safe side would be better not to do so. At least that’s what I think, and I’m trying to improve my average of less than one ban per 50 thousand edits. -- Tuválkin ✉ ✇ 01:42, 2 February 2016 (UTC)
- I don't really see the point in wasting an admins time in closing it, I've added "Withdrawn ... Hopefully that helps abit :) –Davey2010Talk 01:47, 2 February 2016 (UTC)
