Challenged G7 speedy deletion > two years after upload. Andy Dingley (talk) 21:18, 26 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This was tagged as a COM:CSD#G7 uploader request speedy deletion, but that's valid shortly after upload, not >2 years. It's fundamental to the project that we maintain licences as irrevocable and don't start a general principle of uploader-request deletions at any arbitrary point in the future.

The rationale was, subject in photo noted that the tool is missing a handle that may confuse viewers. Photo is not currently used on any pages. That seems to be an argument under COM:SCOPE, rather than the regular user requests. Which might be valid, but it's a DR question, not an unarguable speedy.  Keep I don't think I've ever owned a breast drill with that missing handle still in place. Although I do have one with a bolt screwed in there instead. They don't fit well in toolboxes with them still fitted, so it's a regular thing for them to be missing. It's still a perfectly valid photo without the handle.
