Invalid permission or source. fr:Philippe Boiry died January 2014, so this photo dated '17 May 2016' can't be "own work" Hab'rtix (talk) 16:10, 24 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

the original picture has been taken on October 29, 2011. On may 17, 2017 I modified my original picture by changing the background--Kppcom (talk) 16:54, 24 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
upload where? and under which name?--Kppcom (talk) 20:31, 24 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Here, as a distinct file. This should be enough to prove your authorship. — Racconish💬 21:01, 24 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
but if I upload it on commons, I have to give the authorisation for everyone to use the non modified picture which I don't want. So how can I do without this authorisation?--Kppcom (talk) 06:35, 25 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Can you at least reupload a larger size ? — Racconish💬 06:44, 25 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
no, I don't have beside the one I didn't want to upload. You can see it here: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Araucanieboiry.jpg

Once you saw it please delete it, if not I will do it as far as I can. Thanks--Kppcom (talk) 13:07, 25 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

File:Araucanieboiry.jpg seems to be an exact duplicate of File:Boiry.jpg. — Racconish💬 13:42, 25 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
so can I delete it now?--Kppcom (talk) 15:26, 25 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I am sorry, but I don't understand. I suggested to upload a higher resolution of the file to prove you are the author, but you uploaded the exact same resolution. What is this supposed to prove ? — Racconish💬 16:22, 25 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I told you that I don't have a higher one. But this was not the initial question. Habertix said that "Boiry died January 2014, so this photo dated '17 May 2016' can't be "own work"". With the uploading of "Araucanieboiry.jpg" you can now see in the EXIF data that the original picture was taken in 2011. So the argument of Habertix is proven to not be exact.--Kppcom (talk) 17:07, 25 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
OK, now I understand. — Racconish💬 17:31, 25 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
so, again is it possible to delete Araucanieboiry.jpg now? and can the deletion tag on Boiry.jpg be taken away?--Kppcom (talk) 17:35, 25 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Any final thoughts Racconish? I'm closing out June's DRs and I'm a little concerned about this one. The supposed original version also lacked EXIF data which is...concerning. This one just looks like a bad photoshop job to me but I can't really decide either way although I'm leaning delete due to lack of confirmatory evidence to the contrary. --Majora (talk) 04:35, 7 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted: per discussion and lack of evidence. --Majora (talk) 21:13, 7 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
