This photo is a derivative of the painting, held by the demonstrator, and violates the copyright of the painter and makes the free license on Flickr bogus. -- Túrelio (talk) 07:34, 30 April 2021 (UTC)
Same painting contained in:
- File:Andrew Brown Protest in Graham (2021 Apr 27) (51144606715).jpg — However, here de minimis might be discussed.
- Keep this one as de minimis--A1Cafel (talk) 08:43, 30 April 2021 (UTC)
- This is nowhere near de minimis. It might fall under COM:TOO as a trivial piece of design work for a protest placard, but it's clearly the central theme of the photo. It would also pass fair-use, for use on Wikipedias (unless there were already similar images from the same protest), but that's of no use relevance for Commons.
- I would weakly keep this, per TOO, but I agree it's marginal. Andy Dingley (talk) 14:32, 30 April 2021 (UTC)
- Delete File:Andrew Brown Protest in Graham (2021 Apr 27) (51144595300).jpg. Fails de minimis and surpasses TOO. It's a piece of artwork, it doesn't matter how visually appealing it is. Anarchyte (talk • work) 12:20, 10 May 2021 (UTC)
