Stack of anime/manga comics. They are copyrighted. Дима Г (talk) 09:33, 14 November 2017 (UTC)
- Keep. De minimis just like in File:Toys Otaku Buy 3.jpg and many similar images including an image I took around the same time which was kept - see Commons:Deletion requests/File:Akihabara August 2014 09.JPG. The focus is not on one or two covers, but on a pile of books. Also from Commons:Copyright rules by subject matter, from the discussion of cosplay "in light of Ets-Hokin v. Skyy Spirits, in which a photograph of a bottle was held not to be derivative of the label on the bottle. Present consensus has adopted the view that in order to be a copyright violation, "[t]he photo would have to be primarily of the mask or other separable element of the costume, e.g. focusing on the expression inherent in the mask distinct from that of the general character." By analogy, this is not a photo primarily of a book cover, but of a stack of books. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus Talk 09:41, 14 November 2017 (UTC)
- However, you can clearly see many book covers, they are the main element of the photo and therefore can't be De minimis.--Дима Г (talk) 09:52, 14 November 2017 (UTC)
- The fact that you can clearly see something doesn't invalidate de minimis. Just like in the prior discussion, you can clearly see 'figurines' but it was kept. Or Commons:Deletion requests/Image:Wiki b kamenny bridge.jpg. You can clearly see other buildings, but it doesn't matter since no single building is in the focus. Or Commons:Deletion requests/Image:Xuxa.jpg - copyrighted posters in the background, pretty clearly visible. Not a problem. This is why Commons:Deletion requests/File:E3 2010 Assassin's Creed Brotherhood (2).jpg was kept, too. Please study DM a bit more. PS. Just like for File:E3 2010 Assassin's Creed Brotherhood at the Ubisoft booth.jpg and such, {{De minimis}} would be a good addition. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus Talk 09:59, 14 November 2017 (UTC)

Kept: per discussion. Individual covers are so small as to be DM. P 1 9 9 ✉ 19:19, 24 November 2017 (UTC)
