The license information says "author died more than 70 years ago". But the author is unknown (не указан), so how do we know when he/she died? We need to know who the author/photographer was, when the photo was created and when the photographer died. El Grafo (talk) 14:33, 28 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Almost all the old photos posted on the Internet have no information about the author. ~ Чръный человек (talk) 15:02, 28 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, that's a problem, but no reason for us to do the same. --El Grafo (talk) 15:42, 28 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
License was changed to PD-Russia. ~ Чръный человек (talk) 15:07, 28 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, but there is still no evidence that any of the claims mate in {{PD-Russia}} apply for this photograph. Apart from that, {{PD-Russia}} alone is not sufficient: We also need to consider the copyright status in the USA (see Commons:PD). I know, it sucks. But those are the rules (laws!) and we have to stick with them. --El Grafo (talk) 15:42, 28 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Comment I changed licence again, that time for anonymous one. Taivo (talk) 17:52, 28 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
a) We need evidence that it was actually published anonymously – us not knowing the photographer is not enough.
b) Even if we knew for sure that it was published anonymously, we would still need to know when it was published. One year more or less can make a huge difference there …

Deleted: Unclear copyright status. Unless we have definitive, explicit written and/or textual, tangible evidence from a credible, verifiable source naming this file as freely licensed under a Commons compatible license, we simply cannot host it on Commons FASTILY 09:10, 9 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
