FIFA WC Trophies
[edit]Per previous DR: (1): (2) - Derivative works of modern 3D sculpture that are copyrighted by FIFA. The FIFA WC trophy was designed in 1974 by Italian artist Silvio Gazzaniga, who is still alive. The Young WC trophy was designed in 1979, also copyrighted.

- The photograph was taken withing a public space and does not infringe the copyright holder's ability to earn money from the work. I have no comment on the svgs. Walter Görlitz (talk) 04:04, 25 June 2018 (UTC)
- Comment The photograph is a derivative work of an object (in this case, a 3D work, the trophy itself) which is copyrighted by its author since 1974. Authorship issue is clearly explained here: (p.e): "By taking a picture with a copyrighted work depicted as its main subject, for example, the photographer creates a new, copyrighted work (the photograph), but the rights of the work's creator still affect the resulting photograph..."
- As the trophy is the main subject of the photo, de minimis principle can't be applied, unlike photos such as this one or this another. - Fma12 (talk) 12:17, 26 June 2018 (UTC)
