- The Publicly Owned Operation (German: Volkseigener Betrieb; abbreviated VEB) was the main legal form of industrial enterprise in East Germany. There were thousands of VEBs, has nothing to do with the aircrafts of VEB Flugzeugwerke Dresden. --Frze > talk 23:58, 5 December 2016 (UTC) [1]
