- I once created M109 howitzers in Israelitic service because Isearched around the internet and it looked as if "Israelitic" is OK. Because there was an examplesentence which looked pretty OK to me I picked that option. Is M109 howitzers in Israeli service really correct or just another way of spelling?

Additional Information: I asked at the village pump for the correct english which seems to be "Israeli" because "Israelitic" refers to the biblical Israel.
