I believe we must dwell a bit more on pancake - crepe differentiation. Frankly I am not sure if at present our cats reflect the real life. Sometimes the different names given to food in different languages (and even in countries with the same language) take one to confusion. What is a "panqueque", a pancake or a crepe? We had a similar issue around "flan" etc. Does anybody remember? In Turkey we make "akıtma". IMHO I could call it pancake in English, crepe in French and panqueque in Spanish. - This category, like en:Category:Pancakes uses "pancake" as a general term which includes crepes and other regional variations. That makes sense to me. - Themightyquill (talk) 07:48, 23 June 2020 (UTC)
