Operator: Luxo

Automatic or Manually Assisted: Automatic

Programming Language(s): PHP

Edit period(s) (e.g. Continuous, daily, one time run): monthly

Bot flag requested: (Y/N): Y

Functions: The Bot loads all pictures of archives of the german Graphic Lab. By the Template:Bilderwerkstatt he finds all retouched pictures, and by the parameter |orig=Originalimage.jpg in the template the original picture is found. Afterwards the retouched versions are entered in the original picture in de or at commons. If the Template:Information is used, the retouched pictures are listed under |other_versions=, otherwise a new section == Retouched pictures / Bildbearbeitungen == is created. The bot will run at the beginning of every month on the archive of the last month, the first runs will include some old archives of the Graphic Lab. Usually a week. --EugeneZelenko 15:29, 7 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Looks fine for me. I could only suggest to put {{de|Von diesem Bild existieren die folgenden Bildbearbeitungen aus der [[:de:Wikipedia:Bilderwerkstatt|Bilderwerkstatt]]:}}{{en|Retouched versions of this picture from the german [[:de:Wikipedia:Bilderwerkstatt|Graphic Lab]]:}} in separate template, so translations to other languages could be added easily in one place. --EugeneZelenko 15:29, 7 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hm I think more languages than en and de is not concise ... I used this languages, because most of the "clients" of the Graphic Lab speaks German; in my opinion more languages are excrescent.--Luxo 15:10, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'm talking about possibility :-) Not everybody understand English or German. --EugeneZelenko 14:35, 9 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
That's right, but there are ~>6500 languages in the world - we must take those which is most understand ;-) Sorry my bad english, I'm en-1 ;)--Luxo 18:32, 9 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
See {{GFDL}} as example. Main point - easy expandability. --EugeneZelenko 14:19, 10 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, but that's not the same, this is a license and important. But the bot-text is not very important - if anybody don't understand it, you can click on the image-link and you see the other version.--Luxo 15:42, 11 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
