I'd like to nominate Royalbroil for adminship. Royalbroil is helpful and offers a sound voice in discussions with other users. He has been a sysop on the English Wikipedia since November 2007 and does sterling work in that capacity. I think commons would benefit from also granting him a few extra buttons. Royalbroil has uploaded over 1000 images to Commons and helps out as a flickr reviewer. His deleted contributions show sensible tagging of media files and other pages for deletion. I think Royalbroil has a good understanding of how commons works; he would make good use of the tools as part of his image review work and for general maintenance. He has my full confidence. I accept this nomination, thank you for you confidence, WJBscribe. The tools would be helpful, as I do find copyright violations (especially while reviewing flickr images). Royalbroil 01:23, 29 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Question some nine months ago you said [1] that you did not know Commons policies well enough to apply for adminship here, in what way have your contributions/edit pattern here changed since then so that you now feel ready? To elaborate, I'm a bit concerned that you haven't been very active in the Commons namespace. Regards, Finn Rindahl (talk) 14:08, 30 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Several things have changed. The biggest one is that I became trusted to review flickr images. The trust caused me to review Commons' policies and guidelines to get a better understanding on how everything works. I got to see the difference between speedy and regular deletions. I've participated in some discussions on regular deletions. Royalbroil 00:13, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
