MPF has been a user on Commons since October 2004 and has made here over 8,400 edits. Also, he has been an administrator on English Wikipedia (en:User:MPF) since January 2006 and has made nearly 40.000 edits He is an expert on trees and birds and has been generous in helping other editors with species identifications and other questions. His work correcting the file names of misidentified species and gallery page names (when content merging is required) would be aided by administrator privileges. - Support quite firmly. (Unrelatedly, is there any particular reason for which we've moved from bulleting votes to numbering them? Unless they are to be divided between those for and against, numbering would seem not particularly useful [as against on requests for checkuser permission, where Foundation policy requires 25 supports], but it's surely no grand deal.)
