All aspects of Durova's actions here have been to improvement of Commons as such I take great pleasure in nominating Durova. With 19 Featured Pictures uploaded, mostly historical images that she has successfully restored, Durova also offers to restore any image just drop a request here. First editing in October 2006, the bulk of her activity has been since November 2007, Durova has uploaded 290 images and made over 2000 edits with about 25% of those to Commons space. A native English speaker she also speaks German, as well as some Spanish and French which is always an asset to the Commons community. Durova has an understanding of the issues face by Commons in relation to copyright variations by different countries this discussion demonstrates that knowledge. Durova also excels in gardening with the gnomes most recently her efforts were in the Category:Textiles where she spent a considerable amount of time sorting images into subcategories. Commons is already benefitting by having Durova here as a contributor, the community can only gain by trusting her with the additional tools. Gnangarra 15:34, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

I’ve been working with Durova for a few months now, from a time when she was a lot newer on Commons. Despite her relative newness and my apparent knowledge of what the hell is/was going on, I often found myself asking Durova for help and advice in tricky situations.

Durova has done a stack of working in maintaining the freedom of Commons; tagging copyvios, and the like. She has also nominated a stack of featured pictures and has a good idea of how things work around the community. Recently, Durova’s dedication and knowledge of copyvio work was demonstrated in Commons:Deletion requests/Images of PHGCOM.

Durova resigned her English Wikipedia adminship last year in some rather controversial circumstances, but I am certain that she has learned a great deal from that debacle, and that she won’t make similar mistakes again. I place great faith in her here and hope she doesn’t let me down in this regard. I ask the community, now, to also assume good faith and grant adminship to this highly deserving editor.
