Hello, I'm nominating myself —Diti (talk · contributions (views) · deleted user contributions · recent activity (talk · project · deletion requests) · logs · block log · global contribs · CentralAuth)— to be an administrator. I'm eager to help all Wikimedia Foundation's projects, thus I asked to be trusted user more than one month ago, and tried to make a good work. By the way, I'm not a sysop of any Wikimedia's projects. I'm just a recent member of Wikimédia France.

Even though I put all my work on Commons as soon as I can, I think my photographs are not very nice. So I browse the web in order to finding better photographers; now I'm helping Samuel Blanc and Matthieu Weber to contribute. But they, particularly the second one, seems to make a lot of mistakes (ie. bad filename, so picture should be deleted and reuploaded).

If I am promoted, I will continue to help new contributors, put categories for pictures, make deletion requests, review Flickr photos, translate Wikimedia Commons' interface. I know licensing very well (if you can read french, see a paper I wrote about it). But now I would like to work on Commons as a sysop in order to honoring requests on the special pages instead of just seeing them, and in a more short-sighted view, helping the contributors I brought here.

Waiting for your votes,
Diti (talk to the penguin) 09:22, 14 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I know you can think I'm unexperienced, but I think I'm not; that's why I decided to “search and destroy” copyvios more than before, right yesterday. If you really wish to see me more frequently on the deletion requests, which I can understand, it won't be a problem for me to try again in some months, in order to getting myself more trusted by you than now. You may be experienced, but we like to see a little more Commons experience (and I do mean little, in your case). Not necessarily in order to make you more qualified, but for the community's benefit so we can see that you are truly experienced and feel comfortable with you having the tools. I can definitely see myself supporting you in the future. Cheers, Rocket000 (talk) 00:52, 17 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Looking forward to more contributions and getting to know the cancidate better, and I hope we'll meet again at this page for a new RfA in e few months or so. Keep up the good work, Finn Rindahl (talk) 08:31, 19 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
