English: Mesoamerican codex written by unknown indigens (the painter is supposed to be Francisco Gualpuyogualcal) between 1541 and 1542 for Antonio de Mendoza, viceroy of New Spain, who may have commissioned it. It combines Aztec pictograms with Spanish text. The original is held at the Bodleian Library, Oxford
