English: Charles, called the Bold (1433–1477), duke of Burgundy, son of Philip III, Duke of Burgundy and Isabella of Portugal, was born in Dijon on November 10 1433. In his father’s lifetime he bore the title of count of Charolais. He married three times, Catherine of France (1428–1446), Isabella of Bourbon (1436–1465), Margaret of York (1446–1503)
