Sauce vs. other preparations

[edit]

I find such removals a bit less than useful, because it becomes impossible to find what in Italian is called "passata" or "polpa" di pomodoro (of tomato), or in the example "tomattimurska", i.e. in English the "sieved raw tomatoes" or "pulp of tomatoes", which is not the same as other raw preparations according to wikt:passata.

If you know an acceptable hypernym for polpa and passata, please create a category for it and put it into use, but don't just mix everything up. If no precise term is known in English, let's just use the Italian ones. --Nemo 15:55, 26 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Both are more near to raw tomatoes as to tomato sauce, because it needs to be cooked (in the italian one and also in the classc one). And in my opinion it makes no sense to place everything here only because one of the ingredients is more or less tomato sauce. --Xipolis (talk) 20:42, 26 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
