No pure water in volcanic "steam"

Problem is: If you define "steam" as "pure water vapour", there are no such clouds at volcanoes. There are always other gases involved like sulfur or CO2.Hornstrandir1 (talk) 10:45, 28 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Which is especially true in the case of eruptions: There you would have even a lot of other gases within the eruption clouds (=eruption columns) as well as tephra.Hornstrandir1 (talk) 10:49, 28 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
