Category talk:Siege of Pleven

en:Siege of Plevna is a part of the Russo-Turkish War. "Romanian War of Independence" was also a part of the Russo-Turkish War. As long as I understand, even if Romanian troops participated in the battle, en:Siege of Plevna is not a part of "Romanian War of Independence". If the term Romanian War of Independence is nothing but the name used in Romanian historiography to refer to the 1877-1878 Russo-Turkish war, Category:Romanian War of Independence is needless. If there are difference between Romanian War of Independence and 1877-1878 Russo-Turkish War, Category:Romanian War of Independence is useful. Takabeg (talk) 06:10, 1 December 2011 (UTC)
