Ill-defined category, overlapping with lots of concepts. We already have Category:Sacred places, which seems enough for all content proposed here. I suggest to move to there, then delete.

What is a "Sacred Site" in the first place? Are all religious buildings included (because they are sacred) or are they all excluded (because they're buildings, not sites)?

The United States Capitol (despite being non-religious!) is conventionally considered a sacred site of american democracy - does it count? Are ancient Roman/Greek temples still sacred after thousands of years of neglect? Is Stonehenge a sacred site? Do natural sanctuaries count as sacred sites of indigenous peoples? Are whole mountains like Sri Pada and Fujisama sacred sites? Enyavar (talk) 12:42, 4 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If someone writes Sacred Sites, instead of Sacred sites, you should ban them from opening new categories until they learn the rules of the place. 186.175.0.130 14:48, 4 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with Enyavar. It is necessary to move the content to Category:Sacred places and delete the category Category:Sacred Sites. --Impro (talk) 04:47, 5 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
