Drawing of Cupola House
[edit]The Smithsonian's information for the artist who created the 1934 drawing Cupola House matches with that of Ralph Briggs Fuller, the cartoonist. The New Deal art project is stated to be the Section of Painting and Sculpture in North Carolina. But Ralph Briggs Fuller did not live in North Carolina in 1934; and this pen-and-ink drawing seems an odd match for the Treasury Section.
The Public Works of Art Project records a Ralph Bell Fuller Jr. living in Durham, North Carolina. I suspect that the Smithsonian has misidentified the artist and New Deal project responsible for Cupola House. I will revert my edits connecting the drawing with Ralph Fuller, and credit Ralph Bell Fuller Jr and PWAP in North Carolina. There is no information that this Ralph Fuller was associated with the New Deal art projects. — WFinch (talk) 04:39, 22 October 2022 (UTC)
