Category talk:Punkaharju (esker)

Forest Museum Lusto has done a great work in uploading historic images here. Unfortunately, the categorization of images remains ambiguous. I wonder if it would be possible to separate historic images into their own categories:

• Historic images of Punkaharju esker
  • Historic images of Hotel Punkaharju

@Periegetes: I do not know this specific topic. But, in general, we should avoid category name "historic", because it seems to be ambigious. Eg in category:Old maps, there is explanation, what means "old"--Estopedist1 (talk) 13:43, 1 June 2020 (UTC)

@Estopedist1: I agree and was thinking about other solution but could not think about a working one. The point is to separate 'historic' material from more contemparary for practical reason: to make it more comfortable browsing the images. Should we change the category name to "19th century images of Punkaharju" - who knows about the dates? Note also that there myriad categories 'History of...' - the same question about what is history/historic applies here.
