Who is the moron who insists that there are such things as "Prime ministers" ? The correct term is "Prime Minister" where "prime" is not an adjective but part of a title and compound noun. Rcbutcher (talk) 15:55, 12 March 2010 (UTC)

Nope, "prime minister" by itself is not a proper noun. However, it's often part of a proper noun when speaking of the actual government position in a given country. For example, you can say "Tony Blair is a prime minister", where the term common noun, meaning the position of prime minister in general. By contrast, you can also say "Tony Blair is the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom", where the term is a proper noun referring to the specific position in the UK.
