Miscategorized maps
[edit]I noticed 61 files mistakenly included in this category a few hours ago. I managed to fix a handful of errors and remove some, but most maps proved more difficult than I hoped. I assume that Daask fixed the basic issue in July, but for some reason (surely stemming from some bug), the affected files remain categorized after that fix, and neither purging each file nor purging this category helps. The only way I found is to make an edit to each affected file (which works regardless of the changes).
I did that for the English maps using the occasion to refactor their descriptions, bringing it down to 37 files, but I'm not going to do the same for the German maps (since I don't know German… and don't want to go through even more files). It would be great if some German monk could do that, or if someone knowledgeable enough about MediaWiki could show us the Right Way. Chealer (talk) 06:09, 4 November 2024 (UTC)
