Oriental Orthodoxy
[edit]What is meant by "Oriental Orthodoxy"? Is there also an "Occidental Orthodoxy"? If I am not satisfied by possible answers here, I will open a CfD. Thanks. --E4024 (talk) 04:54, 5 February 2021 (UTC)
- @E4024: "Oriental Orthodoxy" is a distinct concept from "Eastern Orthodoxy", and a moderately common term in comparative religion. I don't know any other name that groups these particular Churches. See Oriental Orthodox Churches. Sometimes I've also seen it used inclusive of things like the Church of the East (a.k.a. "Persian" or "Nestorian" Church). - Jmabel ! talk 05:36, 5 February 2021 (UTC)
