What is the definition for this category?

What is the definition for this category? I see a reference to Petroleum and Mineral oil, indicating that this category is not about these two types of oil. But I also see Petroleum as a subcategory, and in the Wikidata infobox is a photo of motor oil, a petroleum product. So that is confusing. Is this category for all types of oil or not? To me this category works well for topics characterized as "viscous water-insoluble liquids" as stated in the Wikidata infobox. Subclasses of oils such as petroleum products, vegetable oils, etc. make good subcategories. Marbletan (talk) 12:20, 29 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
