Feral horses

I would like a category for feral horses, specifically in the United States. There is a page on Mustang, but it has the category of horse breeds which has no corresponding sub category for any wild or feral horses. Any suggestions? --Robbie Love Giles (talk) 15:24, 14 August 2008 (UTC)

Excellent idea - feral horses really deserve a category, where to list mustangs too that are not a breed. There are lots of feral or nearly-feral horses here and there around the world in any continent - here in Italy too there are some small groups of free roaming horses, sometimes of specific and ancient breeds.

I think that such a category should be opened as a high-level one - just below the main Category:Horses one. I'll try to collect some pictures. --Alex_brollo Talk|Contrib 19:24, 14 August 2008 (UTC)

I added a Category:Feral horses and five subcategories for feral horse from America, Australia, Asia, Africa, and Asia. And a very fast search for "feral horse", "brumbie", "mongolia horse" and so on gave me something to fill all those subcategories. If you like, you'll find many pictures and articles to categorize! Good work... it.wikisource is waiting for me, I'm working about Image:Il cavallarizzo.djvu... really a hard work. :-( --Alex_brollo Talk|Contrib 20:06, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
