Would you by any chance be familiar with the Traditional Chinese characters for "HongPing Taels"? I have been able to find Caoping Taels and Kuping Taels, but from what I could tell the only English-language references and/or websites which even mention HongPjng Taels refer to the banknotes on which they appeared. - "HongPing" should be "行平", "Hang Ping" in Hanyu Pinyin.The standard was called as "行平化宝" (Hong Ping Hua Bau) on the teal banknotes of the Russo-Chinese Bank--Baomi (talk) 07:11, 22 May 2019 (UTC)
- Thank you very much, the stupid spelling confused me, though in both English and Russian the letter "O" is sometimes pronounced as the "A" in "Russia" so it makes sense. I've been trying to map most "less common" denominations, but silver taels usually have a million and one standards so I want to add the different ones that appear on banknotes.
