English: The Siemens train maintenance depot in York was opened on 10 May 2007. It was built to maintain the fleet of Class 185 diesel multiple units, in conjunction with the fleet maintenance facility in Ardwick, Manchester that opened in 2006. It's situated to the north of York railway station, on the west side of the East Coast Main Line. The depot shares an ECML connection with the National Railway Museum, who use it for their turntable, workshop, warehouse and locomotive preparation bay sidings.
The rail entrance to the depot/museum is via a northbound spur 53°57′42.97″N 1°5′52.2″W / 53.9619361°N 1.097833°W off the Loco Line that runs from York platforms 9/10/11 to the north, parallel with the ECML Down Fast line.
The road entrance to the depot 53°57′41.77″N 1°5′56.57″W / 53.9616028°N 1.0990472°W is off of Leeman Road.
