English: Wuniulan, also called "O͘-gû-lân" or "Ailan" , is a settlement in Puli Township, Nantou County. It is centrally situated on the tableland where the Beigang River joins the Nangang River. Administratively, it is located in the border of Ailan Village and Tieshan Village, and the management is carried out by the Puli Township Office. The settlement was originally founded by Pazeh people and called it "Aoran".
中文(臺灣):烏牛欄,又稱愛蘭,是南投縣埔里鎮的聚落,位於愛蘭台地的正中心。行政上,剛好座落於愛蘭里與鐵山里之交界,由埔里鎮公所治轄。其實,該聚落最早是巴宰族建立,並將其稱為「Aoran」,漢譯變成現今諧音之「烏牛欄」、「愛蘭」。
